Yacht club security cameras called 'waste of money' ?

"Parks and Rec workers say it's really just an extra precaution. The cameras are always recording, so they're watching when workers can't.

The merchandise at the Cape Coral Yacht Club isn't cheap. Some boats go for as much as $500,000. So naturally, some boat owners say the added protection in welcomed.

'The idea is good. It can't do anything but protect us. We don't have that much crime here anyway, but there are instances of it,' said boat owner Roy Koz.

Still, not everyone is smiling for the cameras."
