The merchandise at the Cape Coral Yacht Club isn't cheap. Some boats go for as much as $500,000. So naturally, some boat owners say the added protection in welcomed.

'The idea is good. It can't do anything but protect us. We don't have that much crime here anyway, but there are instances of it,' said boat owner Roy Koz.
